Street's name at the traffic!

I loved the ideia to place a luminous plate with the name of the street that crosses the avenue beside the "traffic lamp" (sorry don't know the right name in english for that...)! I always had difficulty in reading the name of the streets that normally are in small plates in the squares and always thought how dangerous is to decelerate the car to read it.

I like this posting!

Hello Stephan!!

Until now I think that just a few people at Shapeshifters has english as a mother language. Cause of that we all can have difficult to express ideas, but with some creativity we can be understood (what about traffic lamp, hun!?!?! Heeee...).

A nice night from Brasil!

...we could verywell do with these in finland when the days are dark and streettags usually hiding when you would need one...
gosh, what a language the finnish. i fell like an analphabet here not being able to crossread a short text like an info-plate.

yes, and new technology even would not waste energy.

now, this counter thingy is something practical i have to say! cos who doesnt know these moments when we sit behind the wheel waiting stupidly for the lights to turn green, not knowing if we still have time to open a chocolate bar or make a phone call :-P (yes i know i know, no phone while driving, but where i live it is possible hehe)

That reminds me of another observation I have made on the streets of Salvador: Electronic time counters are attached to your traffic lights. Counting down the seconds until the next green light comes up.
P.S. I confirm that you are a good driver!
