disguised telephone poles
I have seen a very interesting solution for environmental architecture in johannesburg: they disguise their phone poles as trees. In europe you can tell from a huge distance when you see a phone pole, but in johburg you don't. at the first look you see just a tree, looking closer you find out it`s a hidden telephone pole. I like that idea, because phone masts by themselves are not really beautiful ...
