Women's Day
Ok! Joburg, South Africa - wonderful afternoon and I am wearing a short sleeved t-shirt because the weather has behaved this week. Internet cafe is relatively empty, but the streets are teeming with people going to different areas and places to celebrate woman's day. A day in our history when women gave a middle finger to the apartheid regime about 50 years ago. This country's women showed their brevity and courage. A long path to political freedom had began. Now, 50 or so years later, we need a new kind of freedom....
I checked on to my spot and found that Oran is looking for a cost-effective branding consultant. Guess what - I recommended myself and my team to take on the job. Will be calling him tomorrow.
I just submitted my design for the Freelancentral people. They gave me an NPO to design a logo, posters & small brochure for! What a joy! I hope they will love it.
Otherwise, I am really enjoying the shape-shifting going on around here.
Till my next posting, I am off to enjoy today's holiday in South Africa.

The best thing about Women's Day for me was that i could sleep for the whole day and dont go to work. It was wonderful to see so many women celebrating themselves and the heritage of our country. What a day...
