looking for a place to stay
I will be in Los Angeles from Februar 19th to 28th for education purposes (Teacher Training with Shiva Rea) and am looking for an apartment in either Venice or Santa Monica as I need to be in walking distance to "exhale" (yoga shala). I would love to extend my stay until mid march and am looking to either subrent or share a room - depending on what's available and financially possible. I am a visual artist and yoga teacher. I know about craigslist and westsiderentals and hope I will find something suitable here. Please do contact me asap if you have something to offer or know somebody who has. Many thanks!

I can highly recommend http://couchsurfing.com for finding a place to stay. It's full of interesting people anywhere in the world, and really works in building trust between the participants.
