daily reminder

A part of my daily routine is passing through Courtenay Place, Wellington, drawing in all those different life-lines and energies that come together in this place thoughout the day and at night. I couldnīt help but noticing this "CREO" sign, overshadowing the whole place, which has become something like a constant reminder for me. In spanish, "creo" is the conjugation of the first person singular for two verbs: "crear" which means "to create", and "creer" which translates to "I believe".
To me personally, the greatest pleasure in my work and my daily life comes from applying my innermost, deepest believes to life and see how life miraculously adapts to it, weaving myself in and out different realities, way to look at things, shape - shifting and quantum - leaping. Of course itīs not only life itself, through and in which we create what we truly believe and come to define reality for ourselves, but our works as artists of a myriad truths reflect that as well. I would be interesting to hear stories of where you stepped outside the box in your work and art, and how this changes your reality (maybe forever).

Funny that creo in portuguese means believe (although there is an i after the e) which goes hand in hand with what you have said. Also interesting that you talk about different realities as I believe in different alternative worlds in which we are existing simultaneously and feeding off each version of ourselves. Sounds crazy? If I can suggest a book, read Power versus Force.
