Das Möbel (translated: Furniture) is a mixed space: Watching and maybe buying furniture and accessoires while drinking or eating. It is like window shopping while having juice (or wine etc.) and food. It is a super concept and as far as I know quite unique: The guy who runs the shop did not want to open a normal design furniture store only but connected it with a café/bar atmosphere. You are sitting on design chairs and tables the one day and the other day you will find other and new furniture from new designers. And they also offer consulting for interior design. I'm sure this concept would work in other countries and cities as well. If you want to check out their website: http://www.dasmoebel.at . And recently they opened a "normal" design shop as well. The only disadvantage: The Website is in german only, but you can find some nice pictures.

Two days ago I visited a shop in Vienna called 'Habari' where you can buy truly beautiful african goods, from furniture to fabric, art objects (old and new) and everything in between.
I thought this might be interesting for any craftsman/artist in Africa looking for ways to distribute to Europe. The owners are really nice people and also interested in not only selling the goods but also bringing African culture to Vienna/Austria. (There are discussions & exhibitions taking place there...)

Their website: http://www.habari.at

Dear friends the world over, we are planning to create Shapeshifters T-shirts that look beautiful, are manufactured under fair conditions, don´t harm the planet, but still have a reasonable price. That´s why I am looking for printable, shortsleeve T-shirts in the basic colours white, black, red, blue in Small, Medium, Large and X-Large. We require regular cut T-shirts for men and tailor cut T-shirts for women. Please could anyone give me practical advise where I could find this T-shirts or does anyone know of such a sustainable T-shirt supplier?

Sydney will have two new arrivals from austria in october . alex and alex. they want to introduce something i think is wonderful and has been around in austria for a few years now - organic swimming pools that you can basically swim in and even drink from and they also look beautiful! It works because of a special biological filtration system that works with a special kind of bacteria to breakdown organic substances in the water, therefore water stays clean, well, forever! No salt, no chlorine, just basically spring water ! This can be used for ponds, natural swimming pools or conversion for conventional swimming pools - mighty creative! if you want info before they arrive (or after!), you can email alex at a.winzer@climatecorp.com

Hi, I'm looking for female or male singers with a dark, smoky and soulful voice in the region of Vienna. I'm working on a new CD and would be very happy to find somebody who is open enough for experiments, but professional. If you have any idea about somebody who would fit for this please give me a hint.

...and European World Championship in Austria in 2008. People try to develop new business or to have "the idea" to make money in connection with major events like football championships. E.g. one has developed a pill, which desolved in water makes a stunning beer (!supposed to!?), because it is not allowed to bring alcoholic beverages into the stadiums.... So what is your - not necessarily serious but CREATIV - idea to make money? Post it now

PS.: It is not about me making money with YOUR ideas - it is about what can I do for you to PROTECT them or to SAFEGUARD against third party claims (e.g. to avoid unfair practices such as ambush marketing, etc)

have been working together with Jürgen Koller (http://www.kollermedia.at) for the past weeks, a freelance webdesigner (XHTML, CSS) based in vienna, austria.

he was recommended by a friend and i'm yet to meet him face to face - still cooperation works smoothly (via email and skype). most importantly he's quick and produces very slim and professional code. (code is poetry!)
