Exploring Gambia

I will be travelling to Banjul by the end of the month and would be very happy to learn about the local arts scene - interesting places, people, contacts in the field of visual or any kind of contemporary arts - probably with regard to a collaboration on a kind of exchange project that I just start working on.
Is there anyone who could help me with some recommendation or contact ?

ich fliege Ende Januar nach Gambia, und hab mich im loonly planet und beim awa a bisserl belesen... währe hochinteressant für mich, wenn du mir deine eindrücke schildern könntest. über die kunstszene könnte ich nur wiedergeben, was ich gelesen habe...

I decided to go to Gambia on very short notice, so I didn't really have the chance to inform myself or to get me a lonely planet guide, and I will only go there for a week. Anyway I'm sure there will be a lot to tell when I'll be back - so if you're interested just let me know how I can reach you and will get in touch with you when I'm back,
