Creative Thinker Post Treatment

Hello all. I am a stranger to Brisbane and have just completed 12 months of chemo. I have not worked for a few years now and am looking to get back in to the swing of things. I am keen to look at anything really. I have been an actor and teacher of drama most of my life and over the past ten years developed a personal development program that I am reworking. So if any one anywhere needs a hand or is looking for someone to undertake nonspecific work. I am new to this site and have just had the thought that this is not the correct way to use it. Oh well. Get in touch. Thanks.

hello. how long have you been in brisbane? what is your age? what kind of cancer were you diagnosed with? i have heard that chemotherapy is pretty rough on a person. have you suffered any long term complications? do you practice a religion?

Hello there. I was on chemo for hep C a viral form of hepatitis. I am experiencing a depression which is a long term side effect. That is why I wish to get involved in a project or work in a field that nourishes me. My age, 48. Brisbane for a couple of years. No religion yet a spiritual practice. Thanks for responding. Phillip

Hello Phillip, I just have this words for you:
"If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free." (John 8:31-32)
"Then they cried to the LORD in their trouble, and he saved them from their distress. He sent forth his word and healed them; he rescued them from the grave." (Psalm 107:19-20)
I found a hope in that, because it is not just words as much people think.
Are you interested in to help people around the world, and around you?

so, why have you been depressed? because of the physical ramifications? have you been alienated against yourself? (it happens to the best of us at times) i did not know they used a form of chemo to treat that particular virus. so you're an actor huh? interesting! me too, i just do not get paid for it! in that sense, i mean isn't acting what so many of us do every day just to get by?act to sell ourselves to ourselves, because we are all we've got, and someone has to push us. act like we have a reason to get out of bed, act like we are polite and courtious, when all we really want to do is scream. if you don'tmind if i ask, what kind of acting do you do, or prefer to do?

I do thank all for your support and feed back. I should make it clear though that I am quite alright about where I am in myself, even though it is not a most comfortable place to be at this moment. Spiritual guidance is not what I am seeking. What I am looking for is the chance to build a network, get some work and begin to develop my own projects again. I am endeavouring to create momentum. I thank you again and if there are any who could direct me toward any projects or possibly need some labour even. I am interested. Thanks again. Phillip

Hi Philip,
your posting and further comments remind me in the most positive way on what basic beliefs and principles this community is built upon: real life action always makes more of a difference than nice talking. Nice talking is easy - there are plenty of spaces on the web filled with it. Here it is all about fostering hands-on action. Unfortunately there is not so much I can do from here (being based in Vienna) but at least I will keep my fingers crossed that your question and someone elses need will meet on the most practical level. Good luck!

Hi there Phillip,
I'm a Photographer based in Perth looking to do great things now and in the future.
I understand your sentence.."What I am looking for is the chance to build a network, get some work and begin to develop my own projects again." I know what it's like when you just need to get back into it. I'm sure that you have your personal spirituality as I you did mention a personal development program.
As I mentioned I am a photographer so I don't know how much I can help you but I can try?? Perth is small but I have a few contacts and I could point you in a good direction, especially if you don't know Australia very well....you didn't mention where you are from?
Anyway I look forward to seeing if you have had any luck elsewhere since you posted on this site? Hopefully I'll be able to help with something, even if it's just another contact?

Hi Phillip, How nice to find you on shapeshifters. Obviously no one else knows what is on offer, when you ask if anyone needs a hand, so let me bring this more into focus. I met Phillip 6 years ago in Auckland. I recognised something in him and asked him to help with the training programme I was running assisting creative's to develop sustainability around their creative projects. He came on board for two years , fine tuning the design of the programme, facilitating participants development masterfully and working with me to step into a much grander vision for my business and my life. Working with Phillip was where my life and prosperity changed and has never looked back. He is a powerful man , trained in the Magicians Way as well as his own approach to up lifting life. So seriously, if you have a project, a business or a challenge in life you want a hand with, do take his offer seriously. You might be in Brisbaine but you don't need to be as he is a mobile kind of chap and telecommunications are good. Anyway I definitely want to take you up on your offer. I am ready to take my business to the next level and wondering if you are willing to add your insightfulness and help again? It was such an exciting adventure last time. Let me know. Lorraine

Hello Lorraine. So good to be in touch with you again. And thanks for the invite to shapeshifters. I am most touched by your above review of my work. I am most certainly interested and willing to engage in assisting you to take your business to the next level and will call you as soon as I am able to set up some context to work in. Phillip
