He lived in his own world of make-believe into which he retreated in spite of all the outside influences.

This make-believe world spawned Spiderman, Daredevil, the Fantastic Four, the Incredible Hulk...is it possible to name all of them?

Born Stanley Lieber in New York in 1922, he is better known now as Stan Lee, the ultimate PURVEYOR OF WONDER!

The story of how he got his big break at Timely Comics (which he grew into Marvel Comics) is interesting -- 20th century-style social networking:

With the help of his uncle, Robbie Solomon, pulp magazine and comic-book publisher Martin Goodman, Lee became an assistant at the new Timely Comics division of Goodman's company.

I have been doing consulting work for a luminary in "financial transformation," which is the process of working not just for a paycheck, but to contribute to the world's dialogue.

Her name is Hazel Henderson and she started doing this work back in the 1970s, long before "green" everything became fashionable.

Calling all writers without discipline

I've been writing since I was 10.

I am 32 now.

I have stacks of journals that almost touch the ceiling.

There must be a way to convert them all into books, I tell you!

I'm on my computer most of my waking hours...

And so, I am inviting all my favorite writers to come to me online...

All my other friends who are writers log on at the same time.

And together we are writing our novels...screenplays...poems...

It's a big change from the lonely hours a writer spends at the computer.
